Promac, the UK’s leading window and glass machinery supplier with over 30 years of industry service, has further strengthened its team by recruiting two additional Regional Sales Managers. Throughout their combined 51 year careers within the industry, both Andy Smith and Duncan Douglas have a proven background in sales and service delivery.
Andy Smith who joins Promac as Regional Sales Manager for the south comments “It’s a tough time for the industry at present as the current economic conditions continue to squeeze margins. Now more than ever, manufacturers have to plan investment that deliver very real cost saving benefits that improve production, quality and performance from machinery purchase. Promac has always been a significant player in this field developing a reputation for being more than just a machinery supplier. I know that establishing longstanding relationships with customers is key and I am looking forward to joining what is undoubtedly one of the UK’s leading machinery providers.”
Duncan Douglas who assumes the position of Regional Sales Manager for the north west having spent the last 26 years working closely with the trade, retail and commercial sectors is looking forward to bringing this experience to his new role at Promac: “I have a clear understanding of PVCu manufacturing processes and the associated sectors of glass and aluminium at all levels of the supply chain which makes the role at Promac the perfect opportunity for me. As the industry's most established machinery supplier with an excellent reputation for the product range and services it provides, Promac was the natural choice to join within the machinery sector. I look forward to utilising my experience, contacts and enthusiasm to support Promac through one of the most challenging phases our industry has experienced.”
