Promac, the window and glass industry’s leading supplier of machinery and service solutions for 31 years, has announced its plans for Vitrum (Milan, 26th – 29th October 2011) and as you would expect from the machinery giant, the company will be supporting its European suppliers with their exhibits.
 
Joe Hague, Commercial Director for Promac explains:”Vitrum is a fantastic platform for the leading representatives of the international glass industry to come together and showcase the latest technologies. Promac will be there supporting a number of our suppliers, especially our principle machinery partner For.El.  They will be demonstrating a 6 metre high fully automatic IGU line complete with washer, T-Super Spacer Applicator, Gas Coupling Press and Structural Sealing Robot along with Vertical Arrissing and Edge Grinding Machines from Pad 13P Stand H19.
 
“Amongst other notable suppliers we will be supporting Macotec who will showcase 3 machines, including their latest offering, the Strato Advance, a compact machine that offers multipurpose glass cutting from a single bridge, uniquely providing higher output without the need for large footprint or additional manpower. The Master Shape FR originally unveiled at Glasstec 2010 – which boasts the very best features of high speed glass cutting today - will also be on show as well as their new entry level Laminate cutting machine.
 
“As well as presenting their internationally renowned products such as Virtual Digitising for dimensional template mapping, LineScanner for online quality inspection and shape control, CulletScanner for accurately auditing the test procedure for toughened glass, SoftSolution will be demonstrating - from Pad 15P Stand H01 - three revolutionary products which are set to create a huge amount of interest at the show. EyeGuide a revolutionary device that speeds up the quality control process, EdgeScanner introduced for the microscopic inspection of the processed glass edge and Spotstop+ an online robot which automatically cleans both sides of the glass after quality inspection and then re-inspects before processing.
